DESCRIPTION:The Spectrum Center for the Arts is sponsoring a Christmas cantata directed by Gail Van Mersbergen. It is called\, “The Thrill of Hope\,” and is brought to us by writer and arranger\, Nick Robertson along with Dave Clark. It is a Christmas musical about God’s promise and includes Christmas favorites\, as well as\nnew Christmas songs.\nThe cantata is open to all who want to sing\, with rehearsals in the Kay Burchette Cultural Center next to the Iowa Theatre. They will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 starting on October 7\, and\ncontinuing until the performance on Sunday\, Dec. 7 at 2:00.\nThere is no cost to participate\, and the performance will be in the Iowa Theatre with a free will donation requested.
